A commissioner of this court granted discretionary review of several partial summary judgment orders of the trial court because (1) the parties agreed that review would be in their best interests and (2) their agreement established sufficient grounds for review under RAP 2.3(b). After consideration of oral argument on the merits, it is apparent that the parties essentially seek an advisory opinion, which we will not render. See Walker v. Munro, 124 Wn.2d 402, 414, 879 P.2d 920 (1994). We therefore hold that discretionary review was improvidently granted; the appeal is dismissed.

A majority of the panel has determined this opinion will not be printed in the Washington Appellate Reports, but it will be filed for public record pursuant to RCW 2.06.040.
